Posted 4 years ago , 5 users are following. I'm a 16 years old shy guy, i don't enjoy socializing and when i do i feel absolutely exhausted and drained of energy afterwards, i like to work only in a quiet environment, i get panicked in overcrowded places,i RARELY go outside because when i do people stare at me and i feel like there's something wrong with me.. Some of them stare at me and they look like they're holding back their laughter and when i pass they start laughing! Is it because of my acne? Is it because I'm too skinny?
Often mischaracterized merely as a "fear of leaving your house," agoraphobia encompasses the anxiety of being in certain situations for which escape is difficult or potentially embarrassing, or where help is not readily available. More specifically, the focus is on the fear of having a panic attack in such situations. A fear of leaving the house is associated with agoraphobia , though not all people with this condition express this concern. Agoraphobia can occur on its own but is more commonly a complication of panic disorder. You do not need to be homebound to be diagnosed with agoraphobia.
But what of the people? What of the generation of now and those to come? How long must we remain "vigilant" until we are mostly if not.
